Welcome to the 7th annual Bit Bang seminar on the Future of Energy! Come find out what the future has in store for the energy sector from the practicalities of fossil fuel divestment to how the energy question is solved in science fiction!
The programme is hosted by Professor Yrjö Neuvo and Professor Erkki Ormala, and includes fast-paced doctoral student presentations on:
-The energy question in Sci-Fi literature
-Can Greenland be green?
-Energy abundance - curse or blessing?
-Fossil fuel divestment – of money and morality
At the reception after the seminar, we hope you will take advantage of the networking opportunity, when the new professors from the different fields of Aalto University will be presented by Provost Ilkka Niemelä.
