“Current State” is the showcase of artworks by graduates of the Fine Art, Environmental Art and Visual Culture programmes of Aalto University. Research and practice carried out by the students manifest in a variety of media, ranging from painting and video installations to live performances. The exhibition also shows the concreteness of ephemeral site-specific projects produced outside the university grounds. It offers an insight into a variety of subjects, such as space, identity and metamorphoses, with works sharing diverse perspectives on contemporary and multidisciplinary art practices.
