The art education programme's 100-year journey from Ateneum to Aalto is celebrated with speeches and visual presentations. Short lectures, dialogues, and celebratory addresses are delivered by art educators, artists, museum educators, alumni, and students. A publication of the book KUVIS sata. Kuvataideopettajien koulutus 1915-2015 marks a century of professional training of art teachers. Influential art educators are also recognised for their contribution to the field of Finnish art education. The celebrations will conclude with cocktails. The event will be held in Finnish.
