Design Club Working Day

Mon 16 May 2016
13.00 – 17.00

In May, before the holiday season we are working with a theme of growth. The vision of the National Design Programme (2013) is that, by 2020, design has made the growth of well-being possible in an uncertain world.

Speakers of the Working Day include Dr. Pekka Mattila serves as a Professor of Practice and a member of the management team at the Aalto University School of Business, Taija Turunen Assistant Professor of Design Business Management at the Department of Management Studies and Jaakko Wäänänen, CEO, Hellon among others.

Design Club is a business community that develops customer relations, and helps member businesses increase sales through the integration of design. Design Club is managed by the Design Museum in close partnership with the Aalto University School of Arts, Design and Architecture. Design Club facilitates revitalisation amongst companies, organisations and institutions. It brings together top research, gathers best practices, facilitates the open sharing of expertise, helps to meet new challenges, and assists with the co-creation of new business models.
