The theme for this year's Real-Time Economy conference is automation. We are witnessing great societal change, where digitalization is entering all areas of work that were previously the exclusive preserve of people. Technologies such as Robotic Process Automation (RPA) are one manifestation of this change, enabling us to automate labour-intensive business processes with ease.

The keynote speeches are on Blockchain by Markus Hautala (Tieto), Real-time Reporting by John Turner (XBRL International), and Big Data by Professor Kalle Lyytinen (Case Western Reserve University).
On the second day, we continue the discussion along three tracks: infrastructure and automation, real-time accounting, and research.
